Function FAQs

What is required to confirm a booking?
A tentative booking may be held for up to five days. A completed booking form, a 50% deposit and credit card details are required to confirm the function.
When are final numbers and food selections due?
Final guest numbers, food selections and full payment for food are required seven days before the event. Additional guests remain subject to seat availability.
Can we bring a celebration cake?
Yes. You may bring one cake, and the venue can provide a cake knife, plates and serviettes at no charge.
Can minors attend a function?
Minors may attend approved areas with prior management approval and must remain in the immediate presence of a responsible adult. Venue licensing conditions apply.
Does Rambutan accept 18th birthday parties?
No. Rambutan does not accept bookings for 18th birthday parties.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations at least four weeks before the event may receive a full refund. Cancellations inside four weeks forfeit the deposit, and cancellations inside seven days forfeit all payments.
Can Rambutan cater for dietary requirements?
Selected vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available. Dietary requirements and allergies should be discussed with the functions team before menus are confirmed.
